Click on the Microsoft Outlook icon on the desktop.
Click on Tools>Account Settings.
You will now be presented with the Account Settings Dialogue box, with the e-mail tab already selected -
Click on the New button
You should find that the option - Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP option has already been selected, click next.
Click in the Your Name box type your full name.
Tab to the e-mail address box and type in your full email address you setup on creating the mail address (how to setup email address covered in beginners guide to email setup)
Tab to the password address box and type in your full password you setup on creating the mail address (how to setup email address covered in beginners guide to email setup)
Click on the next button and wait while Outlook does a search for your server settings
Click on the box entitled - Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click next
You should find that the option - Internet E-mail, connect to your POP, IMAP or HTTP server to send and receive e-mail messages - is selected, click on Next
Click into the Your Name box and type your full name
Tab to the e-mail address box and type your full email address you setup on creating the mail address (how to setup email address covered in beginners guide to email setup.)
Tab to the account type box and select POP3 as the account type.
Tab to the incoming server box and type the name of your incoming server - (If you are an onlinehosters customer, please use our support area if you are unsure about this.)
Tab to the incoming server box and type the name of your outgoing server - (If you are an onlinehosters customer, please use our support area if you are unsure about this.)
Tab to the user name and type your full email address you setup on creating the mail address (how to setup email address covered in beginners guide to email setup.)
Tab to the password address box and type in your full password you setup on creating the mail address (how to setup email address covered in beginners guide to email setup.)
Untick the remember password option (if already ticked) and click next.
Click Finish.
Microsoft Outlook has now been setup for email
